Ordering Information

For Costume Services:

Important!

Here are a few key things to consider before placing an order:

  • - The 30% down-payment for "The Works" and Head-Only commissions must be paid before we can begin the work.

  • - All other services must be paid for in full before we can begin the work.

  • - We ship out completed commissions to our customers after all services are paid for in full.

  • - Please read this entire page and the Terms of Service. We're serious about building your costume if you're serious about commissioning us.

  • - If you have any further questions that are not answered on this website, please do not hesitate to send us an email.

Payment Information:

Both "The Works" and the Head Only costume services require a 30% down-payment before BBS can begin work on your costume. This down-payment will cover the cost of materials needed for the making of your costume and it is NON-REFUNDABLE. All other costume services do not require a down payment, but before work on your commission can begin, payment must be made in full. Payment plans may be arranged for and should be discussed prior to sending any payments to BBS.

If you use PayPal to make a payment, there is no need to worry about adding any additional costs. We will pay for the 5% that PayPal charges us for using their service. Paying the 5% is worth the convenience PayPal provides for us!

All California residents will be charged an additional 7.25% for sales tax. This calculation will be included on your invoice.

For Costume Services:

  1. A three-view, colored character sheet. This is necessary for "The Works" and "The Partial" services. It is not necessary for parts-only services if you can provide a very accurate description and/or an image of the part you're ordering.
  2. A "Duct Tape Dummy" such as the one shown in these tutorials. Duct-tape Dummies are only necessary if you're ordering "The Works."
  3. Measurements: Please download and complete our measurements guide. Save the file with your first and last name replacing the "FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME" in the file name. Please DO NOT email us your measurements guide separately. When we confirm your order, you will be instructed to attach the file to your reply.
