Payment Information:

"The Works" and "Head" costume services require a 30% down-payment before BBS can begin work on your costume. This down-payment will cover the cost of materials needed for the making of your costume and it is NON-REFUNDABLE. All other Costume Services and all Design Services do not require a down payment, but before work on your commission can begin, payment must be made in full. Payment plans may be arranged for and should be discussed prior to sending any payments to BBS. All charges (and/or applicable payment schedules) will be itemized on an invoice for your convenience.

If you use choose to use PayPal to make a payment, there is no need to worry about adding any additional costs. We will pay for the 5% that PayPal charges us for using their service. Paying the 5% is worth the convenience PayPal provides for us!

All California residents will be charged 7.25% sales tax. This calculation will be included on your invoice.

Important Information about Costume Construction:

Heads: All of our costume heads are made of quality grade upholstery foam. Tighter, more fitted heads are available upon request and are built with foam on a balaclava base (a lightweight lycra ski mask).

Tails: If your costume requires a tail, the materials we will use for its structure will depend greatly on what kind of animal it is for. Typically, tails with a relatively small base, such as canine and feline tails, will only contain machine washable polyfil. Foam armatures may be used for tails that need to retain their shape, such as husky and dragon tails.

Our distinctive snap loops are available on all tails. However, if you are ordering "The Works", tails with large bases will be permanently attached to the body suit and its inner structure will be removable so that washing the body is not a hassle.

Hands, Feet, or Paws: You may request for your hands to be stuffed for that toony or bubble look. However, the polyfil will not be stitched into the hands, it will be loosely stuffed into the fingers and palm areas. Just slide your hand under the polyfil when putting the gloves on and reshape as needed. The stuffing may come out when you remove your hand from the glove. It is very important to remove the polyfil if you are going to machine wash them. If you are hand washing, the polyfil is washable and there is no critical reason to remove it if washed with care. Stitching the polyfil in may be requested for an additional cost. If your hand paws are designed with the animal's pads, we only offer cloth pads, no leather nor latex.

Feet are made of upholstery foam on a slipper base. All of our feet come with parade soles (a hard rubber adhered to the bottom of the foot for inside and outside use.) If your foot has a special design or you would like paw pads on the soles, it can be done for an additional fee.
